Washington, DC -- Andrew Weissmann, a former US Department of Justice official and Federal Prosecutor, was urged to stop by DNC (Democratic National Committee) headquarters for a software update after he started talking about Trump causing a "Constitutional Crisis" in an interview this week. DNC HQ quickly noted that this was old messaging and he needed to get his programming updated as soon as possible.
Elton Jacowitz, Director of Software and Configuration Management at the DNC, acknowledged that it has been hard for operatives to keep up with the software recently. He said, "Our BOTs - er, "Banal Operations Team-members", sorry - have been needing almost continuous updates since the bad orange man took over. We used to release updates every few months. As an example, there were almost 3 months between 'Trump is a convicted felon' and 'Joe Biden is sharp as a tack.' We didn't need so many updates back then, but things have changed."
He continued, "The 'Constitutional Crisis' version is pretty old and was known to be bit buggy. That was the first update after the Jan 21 'Dictator on day one' release, but Mr. Weissman appears to have completely missed "Egg Prices" and "Elon Musk wasn't elected," in addition to several other minor releases."
Lastly, Mr. Jacowitz expressed concern, stating "I'm honestly not sure how Mr. Weissman has been functioning without a patch for so long. Most of our BOTs are a little glitchy. The software updates aren't just for consistent messaging, they keep the BOTs from hurting themselves or others. We need them all functional if we're going to stop those dumb MAGA drones."
